North American legend Hyper retired today, stepping away from Beastcoast as a result. He made the announcement on Twitter.
Hyper ends his career as one of the best North American players, having come up as a young gun, upsetting Evil Geniuses alongside Beaulo in Dreamhack Austin 2018 before cutting his teeth on the England led Mousesports/Rise Nation, and then getting brought onto DarkZero to become the star player. He closed out his career with MrB’s completely new Beastcoast roster, placing 4th in the NAL and barely missing out on the Copenhagen Major. The crown jewel of his career is DarkZero’s victory at the Charlotte Major, where DZ overcame Astralis in front of the NA crowd in a banger of a Bo5.
While the next stage of Hyper’s future is uncertain to the public, he leaves professional Siege as one of the best North American players in the game’s history.
